Indications of Syntax and their Effect onHoly Quran Interpretation

Abstract

This research which is entitled “Indications of Syntax and their Effect on Holy Quran Interpretation” discusses one of the most important sciences that is closely related to syntax (Nahw) whose learning is neglected by most of the people today. It is considerable that they are only engaged with studying syntax neglecting its most important side i.e. its hidden meanings. The research aims at manifesting the great honor one gets through learning the science of the hidden meanings of syntax (Nahw) in addition to clarifying to what extent it is connected to Quran, the book of Allah the Almighty through discussing various sections. These sections have manifested the importance of this science as well as revealing the greatness and the hidden secrets of the Holy Quran. This study also uncovers some of the distinct perceptions and the unique views of some great scholars who brought those meanings into practice with Quran that resulted in what is greatly marvelous in the interpretations of the Holy Quran that confirms the Prophet’s saying: “Its marvels and miracles are endless”. Moreover, the study is also concerned with revealing another side of the concept of the greatness of this Holy Book which is the connection of ‘the science syntax indications’ with the science of recitations which is one of the basic parts of the science of Quran interpretation and a path that leads a Muslim to comprehending the hidden meanings of the Quran since contemplating is the main aim of revealing the Holy Quran, Allah the Almighty said, “(This is) a Book (the Quran) which we have sent down to you, full of blessings that they may ponder over its verses, and that men of understanding may remember.”  The researcher has adopted the descriptive analytical method to conduct his study on some Quranic texts, considering them to come to sound results such as manifesting the importance of studying semantics and hoe it is closely related to Quran in addition to clarifying its hidden indications. The researcher, eventually, recommends the researchers and scholars to exert a great effort in conducting more profound studies in such topics with revealing the treasures of the with revealing the treasures of the Quran ad getting its invaluable benefits
