The Educational Role of the Media from the Perspective of the Students of Al-Mahrah College of Education - Hadhramout University

Abstract

The research aimed to identify the educational role of the media as well as the obstacles, solutions and proposed ways. It used the descriptive approach. In order to achieve the objectives of the research, the researcher designed a questionnaire of (43) paragraphs distributed to three areas (educational role of the media, obstacles of the educational media, proposed solutions). The areas were applied to a sample of (44) male and female students The research concluded that the area of solutions and proposed ways came first with an average of (4.37), which was a very high degree. However, the results of the research revealed that the area of obstacles was at a high degree, and they indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the response of the sample to the questionnaire due to the variables of gender and educational qualification.
