Abstract

The study aimed to adapt the Psychological Quality of Life Scale by Springer and Hauser (2006), translated by Mr. Mohamed Abu Hashem. It also sought to assess the level of psychological quality of life among higher education faculty members in the city of Marib, and to determine whether there are statistically significant differences at the 0.05 significance level in the means of psychological quality of life based on gender, university, and academic rank. The study employed the descriptive method. The sample consisted of 66 randomly selected faculty members from higher education institutions in Marib. The Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to analyze the data. The study revealed that the psychological quality of life scale for higher education faculty members has acceptable psychometric properties, and the level of psychological quality of life among higher education faculty members in Marib is moderate. Additionally, the results show that there are no statistically significant differences at the 0.05 level in the means of psychological quality of life based on gender, university, or academic rank.
