Ambition Level and its Relation to Academic Specialization Satisfaction of Among Students of the College of Education

This study aims at revealing the ambition level and its relation to specialization satisfaction among the students of the College of Education , Seiyun University. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers use the Ambition Scale of Kamilia Abdul-Aftah and the Scale of Satisfaction Specialization of Nasima ben Mubarak. A sample of 49 fourth-level students (26 males and 23 females) is selected randomly from the College of Education of Seiyun University in other words, standard deviation and test are used to analyze the data. The study results show an average level of ambition among the fourth level students. While, no statistical indicative differences between the ambition level and the specialization satisfaction are revealed, the study shows statistical indicative differences in the ambition level due to the specialization variable for the favor of the specializations of Physics and Mathematics.
The study recommends professors to play a role in increasing the ambition level among students to enable them to continue their studies, and to pay attention to the students' satisfaction with their academic specialization by taking care about students' tendencies.
