The Delay of Earth Architecture in Hadramout Investigating Reasons

Abstract

Earth architecture, which was described as distinct and unique one, has been available in Yemen for thousands of years ago. Despite the possessing of this size of admiration, this type of architecture has unfortunately failed to develop and has most occasionally been accused of being unadaptable to modern requirements that include constructing bigger buildings in size and area and that may come to heights with multi-storey structure. In addition, it cannot fulfil most of the modern purposes today since it still preserves the same ideas and thoughts in addition to producing the same construction with some vital differences as generally appears. The paper also displays why this structure is not touched by any change or development and still keeps the same state in spite of the technological development in the world that greatly affected the technical fields and the style of constructing. This paper also aims to classify the main reasons that go behind the delay of the local architecture and formulating architectural and critical thought that can correct the current method of earth architecture so as to go according to the modern requirements.The study has come to the finding that there is a number of reasons that still collectively lead to our constructing backwardness.
